YouTube Contest

YouTube Contest presented by Libraries Together Entries due Saturday, February 25th by 5:30 p.m.

Have you ever wanted to make movies? Well now is your chance. We will be having a YouTube contest for area teens. This year we have decided to let you or your team choose your own theme. Below is a list of suggestions, but feel free to make the movie you want to make!

 *     Live action video games, such as a reenactment of an epic Minecraft session.
*     Infomercials for your favorite book, library program, or fictional product.
*     A flashmob.
*     Incorporate Skype or twitter interview with your favorite author.
*     Reinterpret classic literature with a healthy dose of teen angst.

Videos need to be shorter than 5 minutes, and be posted to YouTube. You can then email your entry’s URL and your contact information to the Young Adult Librarian, jgillette@bettendorf.org.

 The YouTube Contest Viewing Premiere will take place on a date and location TBD in March.
