Teen Advisory Group

The next meeting of the Teen Advisory Group will be on Thursday, February 3 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Platinum Room of the Moline Public Library. We will be discussing upcoming programs, changes in the YA department, and planning the Summer Reading Program. Reviews of books, movies, music, and more are needed for this website! Game Daze

Moline students – Celebrate your half day of school at the Moline Public Library on Wednesday, February 2. Enjoy a variety of board, card, and video games. Bring your own or choose from ours. Not a Moline student? Don’t worry, Game Daze is from 1:00 to 5:30, so there will still be plenty of after-school fun!

Teen Reading Challenge

Read Like a Rock StarTeens in grades 6 through 12 are invited to take part in the Quad City area-wide Teen Reading Challenge. Pick up a Challenge log from your local library and keep track of how much you read between January 9 and January 29. Read 250 minutes to win a prize and an invitation to the Challenge Final Party on Friday, February 4. At 500, 750, and 1000 minutes get entered into drawings for more prizes. Teen Writers Group

If you are a teen who loves to write, this is the group for you. Join us on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Platinum Room of the Moline Public Library.
