The Annual Scribe Anthology Submissions

Wednesday, February 1st through Saturday, March 10th

 The Annual Scribe Anthology Author Reception Tuesday, March 27th, 6:00 p.m., Junior League Program Room

 Do you love to write? Do you journal? Then you may be interested in submitting your work for our Scribe Anthology. Young adults between grades 6th – 12th can submit their poems, short stories, and short essays for the Scribe Anthology starting February 1st. All entries are due by March 10th.

 If your work is chosen to appear in the anthology you will be invited to read your work at a short Author’s Reception which will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27th.

 Copies of the anthology will be added to the library collection and will be available for pick up in the Quad.

Teen and Young Adult fans of anime, manga, and all things Japanese are invited to the Moline Public Library the third Tuesday of the month at 3:30 for Anime Club. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, January 17 at 3:30. This program is free and no registration is necessary. Enjoy snacks while you watch and discuss!
