Teen Poetry Contest

Students in grades 6-12 can enter one (1) original poem of up to 25 lines in this contest. Poems will be entered in one of two categories: grades 6-8 and grades 9-12. Prizes will be given in each category for first ($25 Barnes & Noble gift certificate), second ($15 Barnes & Noble gift certificate) and third ($10 Barnes & Noble gift certificate). Deadline for entries is April 21. All contestants are invited to read their poems at the Poetry Café on May 5 at 10:00 a.m. This contest is free and entry forms are available at the Moline Public Library or here.
