The Moline Public Library has decided to do away with the Classics section in the Young Adult Department. The books will be relabled and go in with regular fiction. So here’s what I need to know: Which classics are worth keeping in the Young Adult Department versus going upstairs to the adult section? Reply with the titles your school reads, classics you’ve read and enjoyed, or books you’ve thought would be worth reading even if you haven’t gotten around to it.

Thanks for your help!

Teen Writers Group

If you like to write poetry, fan fiction, novels, essays, or anything at all, this is the group for you! Join us on Monday, October 8 at 7:00 p.m. in the Platinum Room of the Moline Public Library. Bring a few pages you’ve been working on to share with the group, or just bring yourself and give feedback to others. We welcome writers of all levels between the ages of 12 and 21. Even if you’ve been in a slump and haven’t written in a while, come on over and get re-inspired.
