A Librarian Reads…

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

Violet and Finch meet on the top of their school’s belltower. They each have their own reasons for going up there. Violet is tired of pretending that everything is fine after her sister’s death almost a year ago. Finch has just “woken up” after another deep depression. When they are paired up on a class assignment to visit sites of interest across Indiana, they get to know each other and eventually fall in love. But they’re still hiding behind their fears. Will they be able to trust each other enough to be saved?

Recommended for upper High School due to the topics of mental illness and suicide.
