A Librarian Reads…

Asylum by Madeleine Roux

Dan is excited to be spending five weeks at the New Hampshire College Prep program the summer before his senior year. Things look even better when he teams up with Abby and Jordan. The fact that their dorm used to be an asylum for the criminally insane isn’t a big deal. Only, after a unapproved field trip to the asylum’s old office, Dan starts feeling that something isn’t right. Strange emails appear and disappear on his computer. Notes show up in his locked room. And he always feels like someone is watching him. And then people start dying. What connection do Dan and his new friends have to this strange place? More importantly, what does it want from them?

Recommended for high school and up.
