Students in grades 4 through 8 are invited to make Iron-On T-shirts. Create an image and print it out on a Cricut machine, then transfer it for a one-of-a-kind t-shirt. This event is part of the Project Next Generation grant. Registration is requested so t-shirts can be provided. Bus passes are available upon request.

Anime Club is open to teens and tweens in grades 6 through 12 who love anime, manga, and all things Japanese. Drop by to watch anime, enjoy snacks, and make new friends.
Wednesday, February 15 @ 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Students in grades 6 through 12 can play a variety of video games, board games, and computer games in the Teen Corner on Game Days. Drop in any time.
Thursday, February 16 @ 6:00 p.m.
Students in grades 4-8 can try out 3D Doodlers. Make 3D sculptures using a handheld pen. This workshop is part of the Project Next Generation grant. No registration required and bus passes are available to participants.
YouTube Contest for Teens
Quad City teens in grades 6-12 can create a 3-5 minute video for a chance to win $100. In teams of up to five people, make a video based on one of this year’s themes. Upload your movie to YouTube, submit a hard copy to your library, and turn in the entry form. Entries are due March 1st. A Premiere Party will be held March 7th at 6:00 p.m. at the Putnam.
