Program is open to teens and adults of all levels of experience. No registration required. Supplies are provided but limited. Participants can bring their own supplies.

Students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to a Halloween Cookie Decorating program on Thursday, October 18 at 6:00 p.m. Create spooky designs using frosty and candy to decorate (and eat) Halloween cookies while enjoying a movie. To register, call or visit the library’s web calendar.

The Library asks you to celebrate Teen Read Week and to represent Moline in the 2018 Quad City Area Libraries’ Teen Reading Challenge! Teens in grade 6-12 can pick up a reading log at the Library after Sept. 22 and will have four weeks to read as many minutes as they can before returning to their logs to the Library (Reading logs due to Library by Monday, Oct. 22). Teens will receive a finishing prize, entries into many gift card raffles, and a ticket for the teen plus a friend to attend an after-hours Teen Reading Challenge Party at the Moline Library on Friday, Oct. 26 at 6pm. For more information, contact the Moline Public Library at 309-524-2470 or visit us at 3210 41st Street, Moline, IL or online at
