The long rides between cities even give her a chance to use her gift of animal magic safely, without risk of being discovered as a wilder. But everything changes the day Corwin, the king’s younger son and Kate’s former love interest, crashes back into her life. Despite her better judgment, Kate agrees to join him as he seeks to find out who is responsible for the attacks on the kingdom.
A great fantasy setting with a little romance and a lot of action, this book is recommended for readers in high school and up.
