Students in grades 6-12 are invited to an Interactive Movie Program featuring The Hunger Games on Thursday, May 30 at 5:00 p.m. in the second floor program room. Enjoy food, crafts, and other activities related to the film. Registration is required and space is limited.
The Summer Reading Program starts on Saturday, June 1. Sign up and keep track of how much you read to earn prizes and entries into a drawing. Visit the library for a list of special events happening all summer long.
Kick off the Library’s Summer Reading Program with a pool party at Riverside Park’s Aquatic Center on Sunday, June 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Patrons should arrive by 6:30 p.m. in order to be admitted to the party. All pool rules must be followed. Space is limited and registration is required. Registration for this program constitutes registration for the summer reading program.
Would you like to help out with special events at the Library this summer? Teen Assistants ages 13 to 18 are needed to help with the following programs:
- Live Clue—June 6 @ 6:00 p.m.
- Tie Dye—June 22 @ 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Messing Around—July 1 @ 10:00 a.m.
- Outdoor Discovery—July 2 @ 6:00 p.m.
- Astronomy Club—July 16 @ 8:00-11:30 p.m.
- Movie Sing-A-Long—July 19 @ 1:00 p.m.
- Art Extravaganza—July 20 @ 2:00-4:00 p.m.
- Escape Room—July 25 @ 2:00-7:00 p.m.

The Library will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
