Next Week

Write Now! is a group for teen and adult writers of all genres and writing levels. Meetings will be on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the 2nd floor program room. The December 10 meeting will cover the topic of next steps to take once you have finished a work.

Tweens and teens in grades 6 through 12 can create a variety of different crafts, including ornaments, squishies, cards, and more during a Teen Holiday Craft Extravaganza. Give them away as gifts or keep them for yourself. Enjoy snacks and a movie while you work. The second session will be on Tuesday, December 11 at 3:30 p.m. in the 2nd floor program room at the Moline Public Library. Registration is requested.

Tween/Teen Gaming will take place on Wednesday, December 12 @ 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. Enjoy a variety of video games, board games, and computer games at in the second floor program room. Drop in anytime. No registration required. Grades 6-12.

Anime Club
 is open to teens and tweens in grades 6 through 12 who love anime, manga, and all things Japanese. Drop by to watch anime, enjoy snacks, and make new friends.

YouTube Contest for Teens
Quad City teens in grades 6-12 can create a 3-5 minute video for a chance to win $100. In teams of up to five people, make a video based on one of this year’s themes. Upload your movie to YouTube, submit a hard copy to your library, and turn in the entry form. Entries are due March 1st. A Premiere Party will be held March 7th at 6:00 p.m. at the Putnam. See your local library for more information and an entry form.
