During the second session of LEGO Robotics, students will use what they learned to compete against their friends. This event is part of the Project Next Generation grant. Space is limited and registration is required. Bus passes are available upon request.

Tuesday, March 14 @ 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Anime Club is open to teens and tweens in grades 6 through 12 who love anime, manga, and all things Japanese. Drop by to watch anime, enjoy snacks, and make new friends.

Wednesday, March 15 @ 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Students in grades 6 through 12 can play a variety of video games, board games, and computer games in the Teen Corner on Game Days. Drop in any time.

Thursday, March 16 @ 6:00 p.m.
Students in grades 4-12 are needed for Illinois Veteran’s History Project Training. Learn interview techniques, how to use recording equipment, and the project’s guidelines. Interviews with veterans will be scheduled in April and May. This workshop is part of the Project Next Generation grant. No registration required and bus passes are available to participants.

Students in grades 4-8 can make LED Throwies. Combine an LED light with a battery and magnet to create a unique kind of art. This workshop is part of the Project Next Generation grant. Registration is required and bus passes are available to participants.
