Teens and adults can learn to crochet and make a trivet at the Moline Public Library on Saturday, December 14 at 10:00 a.m. Supplies are provided. Registration is required as space and supplies are limited.
Students in grades 4 through 10 can drop by the Library on December 16 between 5:30 and 7:00 to work on lap blankets and lap quilts to donate to a nursing home. No registration required.
The Write Now! Writers Group is open to teen and adult writers of all genres and writing levels. Meetings take place on the first and third Mondays at 6:00 p.m. in the Moline Public Library 2nd floor program room. Bring up to 6 pages (double spaced) of a current writing project to share with the group for advice and feedback.
Help us knit/crochet blanket squares over the winter months. Blanket squares will be used to make complete blankets which will be donated to our Project Linus chapter. Program is open to teens and adults of all levels of experience and will meet on Wednesday, December 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. No registration required. Supplies are provided but limited. Participants may bring their own supplies.
Tweens and teens in grades 6 through 12 are invited to watch the movie Elf on Thursday, December 19 at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy holiday crafts and snacks while watching. No registration required.
