Teen Summer Reading Program 2019

It’s Showtime! @ Your Library

The 2019 Summer Reading Program runs from Saturday, June 1 through Saturday, July 27.

You can read any book, magazine, comic book, or anything with words. If you have read it before you should re-read it during the contest dates to count for the program.

There are three reading levels. For each level read 500 pages or 500 minutes. Use the back of the log to keep track of your reading for your convenience. Get your log stamped to receive your prize for that level. Keep the log until you reach the Final Level.

When you have finished the Final Level you have finished the program and are invited to the Lock-In on Friday, August 2 at 5:00. Registration is required and a permission form must be turned in by July 31. Space is limited.

Continue reading for entries in the grand prize drawings. For each additional 500 pages or 500 minutes beyond the three levels, fill out an extra reading slip (available at the Information Desk) for an entry to win your choice of a $25 gift card.

All reading logs and extra reading slips must be turned in by Saturday, July 27 to receive prizes and be entered into the prize drawings.

To register for the program, visit the Moline Public Library. Or, you can register online here and print out the handout, reading log, and extra reading slips.
